A few minor tears and stains to the margins.

A map of western Polynesia including Samoa in the east with Australia and New Guinea in the west. We also find Tonga ,New Caledonia, Marshall Islands, Mariana Islands and other islands on the map. Two insets of Witi Lewu and Tongatabu. The map was executed by Hermann Berghaus in 1848 and published in 1852. It was issued for the second or third edition of Stieler´s Hand-Atlas.
