Large margins. Some faint water staining to the margins. Not visible at the image area. A little dirt and a few minor tears and breaks to the margins.
A lithograph showing the bedroom of count C. G Wrangel at Skokloster Castle. Two men in a conversation in front of the fire place. This is one of Billmarks best work, in splendid french colour lithograpy. The plate was printed by Lemercier in Paris, the leading firm in Europe at the time. Billmark was educated at Forsell´s engraving school in Stockholm, but soon turned to lithography, and after settling in Paris developed a brilliant talent. His work has allways been sought after.
