Printed on heavy paper.

Some minor stains and creases  to the margins. A couple of small tears to the margins.

A depiction of St. George and the Dragon inside the St. Nicolai church  in Stockholm. The plate was published in the very rare work "Suecia Illustrata" by the short lived publishing house  "Expeditionen af Konversations-Lexikon" in Stockholm, run by  Adolf Bonnier´s protegé Phillip Meyer. "Suecia Illustrata" was probabaly issued in 1857. A large number of plates were planned, but only six became published. The original was painted by the influential artist and architecht Fredrik Wilhelm Scholander.
