Large margins. A few brown spots. Nice conditions.
The plate depicts a sculpture of a boar, published in the great twelve volumes work Museum Florentinum (1731- 1766). The sculpture was brought from Rome to Florence by the Medicis. A copy was cast in the 1600s by Pietro Tacca and became very popular as it stood in a Florentine square.
